This Privacy Policy explains how My Traceroute handles information when you use the iOS app. My Traceroute is a network diagnostic utility for tracing IPv4 routes and checking latency, packet loss, rDNS names, and TCP port status.

Information We Collect

My Traceroute does not collect personal information from you. The app does not require an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or other personal data.

Network Diagnostic Data

When you enter a host name or IPv4 address and start a trace, the app sends network probes from your device to the destination you entered. The app displays diagnostic results on your device, including hop IP addresses, resolved host names when available, latency, packet loss, and TCP port status.

This diagnostic data is processed locally on your device for display in the app. My Traceroute does not send trace results to our servers.

Local Network Permission

iOS may ask for Local Network permission when you trace a private IPv4 address or a device on your local network. My Traceroute uses this permission only to perform route diagnostics for the address or host you enter.

Tracking And Advertising

The first release of My Traceroute does not include advertising and does not use App Tracking Transparency, IDFA, cross-app tracking, or third-party tracking SDKs.

Analytics

My Traceroute does not include analytics SDKs and does not collect usage analytics in the first release.

Third-Party Services

The first release of My Traceroute does not send personal data to third-party services. Network responses shown in the app come from the network path between your device and the destination you choose to test.

Children's Privacy

My Traceroute is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features change. If future versions add advertising, analytics, or other data-related services, this policy and the App Store privacy details should be updated before release.
